Dylan Thomsen

Dylan is part of the AA’s transport policy & advocacy team in Wellington. Using surveys to understand AA Members’ views on issues is a key part of the work his team does, along with commissioning academic research and internal policy analysis.

Identifying and promoting ways that transport could be made better and safer is the main focus of the AA’s advocacy work and pushing for more investment in road maintenance, the introduction of roadside drug testing, more drunk driving enforcement and signage at permanent speed camera locations have been key issues in recent years.
