Anna Bray Sharpin

Principal Advisor - Speed, Infrastructure & Urban Mobility, Waka Kotahi

Anna is a Principal Advisor for Speed, Infrastructure and Urban Mobility at Waka Kotahi. She worked with a multidisciplinary team of authors to prepare the Speed Management Guide: Road to Zero Edition. The majority of her experience comes from the international development and sustainable mobility sector, and includes developing guidance publications and case studies on road safety, contributing to policy and legislation revision, and advising cities on the safe system approach. In 2019 Anna was featured in the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative’s first global list of 40 remarkable women in transport. Anna has a BSc in Environmental Studies and Human Geography from Victoria University of Wellington and a MSc in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics.
